I have been working with Virgil for about 5 months now and have enjoyed my experience so far! One thing I really enjoy is most of the lesson is spent by me playing the guitar rather than watching how good I could be. I learn best by doing and Virgil will show me what he is looking for and then I spend the rest of the lesson doing that with the occasional critique to get me on the right track. If I have questions between lessons or if I would like to get some of the tab critiqued, Virgil is very prompt in responding. I am currently working on acoustic blues and plan to continue with Virgil as I move to different styles and eventually to electric!

As someone who has always enjoyed music it has long been a goal of mine to learn how to play an instrument, and for me the guitar seemed like a natural choice.
