Pricing

I charge $120/per month for lessons. How this works, is you pick a day of the week and time that is convenient for you and you get a 1/2 hour lesson every week at that time. Depending on how the days end up on the calendar you will have 4 to 5 lessons per month. If you start your lessons mid-month (as opposed to starting at the first week of the month), you will have to pay for the weeks remaining in any given month at $30/Lesson IF AFTER your first lesson, you feel you do not want to commit for an entire month, you can simply pay $30 for the one lesson and we can part our separate ways, with no hard feelings.

Additional Costs: There are items that you will need to purchase in order to take lessons with me - Some of these items you may already have. Here is what you will need to get after your first lesson:

  • Guitar Tuner - these range from $29 and up
  • Metronome - You can download the Fine Metronome for $19.99 from my Downloads section - it is a PC based software version or purchase a stand-alone one that has the "triplet" function from your local music store - they usually rang $29.00 and up.
  • Guitar Pro Software - $59.00 - this can be downloaded from my Downloads section as well. I put several lessons of mine in this format, and it will be the most important practice tool you will ever invest in for the guitar.

How and when do you pay? You pay at your first lesson and will have to pay for any lessons that will be coming up for the rest of that particular month. Every month thereafter, your payment will be due on your first lesson of every month.

Extra Info:

NOTICE ABOUT CANCELLATIONS

  1. There are no credits or make-up lessons when a student misses a lesson.
  2. If for some reason, I have to cancel one of your lessons, I will either give you a make-up lesson or credit you on your next payment.

Late for lessons: Please try to make it to your lesson on time, you are only allotted the 1/2 hour time slot! I am firm about the time - this ends up hurting other students or time I have allotted for myself - the point is, if you are going to do it - then do it - you should be ready a couple minutes early for each lesson!

Referrals: You get a free lesson for every referral you bring to me! Please call for details.

2 Students at a time? : Although this may sound like a great idea, it really does not work well for a 1/2 hour lesson. The main reason for this is because the 1st 10 minutes of the lesson is reviewing what we learned the prior week and we address any items that still need work on. The next 10 minutes is covering something new on the guitar and the final 10 minutes will cover what you need to study for the following week. Imagine having to divide that time across 2 people!

Parents: Parents MUST sit in on the lesson with their child, to help encourage them to practice during the week as well as finding out what your child will be studying for the week. Please do not bring other children here to the studio during the lesson.
