Open Jams! This is where you have been invited to play with other students in a "Group Atmosphere" - A great way for you to get better on guitar. And best of all it's FREE! It's just one of the benefits from taking lessons with Virgil. Don't get too nervous about coming to this - this will be laid-back and you will be playing with other guitarists who are trying to get better on guitar as well. Depending on the response of this I may end up doing 2 open Jams for the Adult & Youth groups. The Youth group will be 17 years old and younger and the Adult group will be 18 and up. In order to sign up for this, you must be an active student on my roster.
Things to remember:

The Open Jam will last for an hour and it will only occur if there are enough participants

The people who sign up first will have a better chance of participation

There is a limit of 4 students per open jam

If by chance, you do not make it on the list, don't worry, you may still have a chance if someone cancels

Please do not sign up if you are not sure you can make it to the Open Jam

The first person from each group who signs up first gets to use one of my guitars/amp

After the sign-up period has expired, I will send out an email to all students who made the list.

People who did not make it to the list on any given month will have priority of getting on the following month's open Jam.

I will possibly open up more slots due to a large participation!
- If you are bringing an electric guitar, you must also bring your amp.
July 2010 Open Jam dates:
Youth Group: Saturday, July 10th -3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Adult Group: Saturday, July 17th - 3:00 to 4:00 pm
YOU MUST SIGN UP BEFORE July 4th TO GET IN ON THE JULY OPEN JAM!
Depending on how many students participate, I will open up another day as an "Overflow" DATE.
